MARIA'S TESTIMONIAL

Dr. Min prolonged my lifelong pursuit in bodybuilding and probably saved my military career.

I originally dislocated and greatly injured both shoulders. I first had a shoulder surgery with a different doctor. The recovery was so painful and long, I opted out of surgery for the second shoulder. However, years of continued wear and tear of bodybuilding plus military life only made it much worse. I needed even more invasive surgery than before.

Dr. Min assured me that it would be very successful and not as painful as I experienced last time because of the procedure and technique that he adapts. I was hopeful but skeptical to say the least.  Now a year later, I am here to say that I am so lucky and happy to have had Dr. Min as my surgeon.  Not only the recovery was shorter this time around, it was also less painful all around. It allowed me to start training for a bodybuilding competition about 6 months post operation. My goal was to hit the stage one year after operation and it was definitely doable! Unfortunately my competition got postponed due to COVID-19, however here are some side by side pictures of the improvements that I was able to make post surgery in about 5 months (the picture on the right were about 8 weeks before the original competition date, so I definitely would had enough time to compete and do well).

I think the pictures say it all.  I continue to train daily with minimal issues and now getting ready for when the competitions open back up again.  I can even do a lot of pull ups with this shoulder and be ready for the new Army fitness test. All and all, Dr. Min is a highly competent, confident, approachable and effective doctor and surgeon. He gave me my ability to continue to pursue my passions.  I highly recommend him to all my friends and family; I hope he’s around when I break something else.
